This month’s shining star newsagent nomination comes from QLD Area Supervisor Di Madden following a recent visit to Far North Queensland.

Di visited Beth and Rod from Marlin Coast News in Cairns and was blown away by the level of support for Connections and ACP Magazines.

Beth and Rod have been members since Connections launched 10 years ago and have always maintained a high level of support for everything the program has to offer.

Each week they dedicate their large promotional end to Connections which not only drives sales of ACP Magazines but contributes to their Emerald Club status each year.

Being a member of the Trader 300 Club for RV, Motoring and Marine, Beth and Rod also have another promotional end that they utilise for Trader promotions and any other tactical activity that the ACP Merchandiser offers them. Already they have won Best Display for the Tralierboat display competition last month proving that this promotional end really does pay off! And the great thing about this end is the TV screen that sits above the display giving Beth the opportunity to download the Trader DVD’s to support her promotions and further drive sales.

Additionally Beth and Rod take full advantage of the furniture they receive from ACP Magazines utilising the Woman’s Day counter unit, NW unit and most recently the Good Health unit in high traffic areas.
