Retail Study Tour Scholarship
It’s back… Five countries, 17 days, and just 1 entry for your chance to win the trip of a lifetime!  That’s right the Connections Retail Study Tour Scholarship is back!

The scholarship is open to not only the newsagent business owner but also to staff who work in the channel.  By doing this we aim to not only stimulate and challenge those who have a financial stake in the newsagency business but engage and demonstrate to industry staff that this is a vital and dynamic channel with opportunities available.

The Connections Retail Scholarship will seek to uncover the best thinkers in the industry.  By pushing these innovators to the foreground the channel as a whole can grow and develop, best practises can be realised and advancement can take place.

How do you participate?
Participation in the competition is essay based.  First you must register your interest by emailing connections@acpmagazines.com.au, we will then mail an entrants pack to your store. Read through the terms and conditions of the scholarship and select the question you would like to answer. Then simply download the submission template and start your essay. We’ve even provided a step by step guide on how to complete your essay. The process couldn’t be any easier!

All essay submissions will be judged by a panel of external retail experts and internal ACP staff.  Three finalists will then be invited to the next Emerald Club Business session in Sydney, April 2010 to make a short presentation of their nominated essay topic to the same judging panel.  From there a winner will be selected who will then get the incredible opportunity to attend the Westfield Retail Study Tour May 2010. 

Your entrant number
Your entrant number is highly important. This is your unique identifying number.  Your entrant number will be used throughout the judging process.  In this way you will be judged without reference to your location, employment, age or gender.  This will ensure a level playing field for all applicants.
